More Emery

Humor me.....these pictures are out of order, and there are a TON of them, but I figure this is the best way to share pictures with family and friends far away, particularly Uncle Austin, who is TOO far away. I don't have time to put them in order, google needs to find a friendlier way to upload photos!

Here's Emery on Saturday, checking out the world...

Mom and dad both have long toes...Emery apparently has inherited a double long toe gene!

Mark took this one, one of the best that we got of her....he's becoming a great photographer!

The happy family, once they were in their hospital room for the stay.

It seemed like they weighed Emery every thirty minutes, but I know it was less often than that! Every time she was unswaddled, she let us know she didn't like it!

Long toes again...we couldn't help but keep checking them out!
Grandpa Donny....
Grandma Nancy....

Grandpa Mark....

Grandma Alice....actually, none of us have decided what we want Emery to call us, but we are all quite sure we will figure it out when the time comes.

Donny, Nancy, Mark and I went out for a nice dinner while they were moving Sara and Emery. We brought Ryan back a steak dinner for his hard work supporting Sara. He was wonderful!

Okay, so I like pictures of me and Emery...its not often I'm in front of a camera, but this time I didn't mind!
Emery is just a few minutes old here....
and here....
and here.....
and here....
and here....daddy was showing us her full head of black hair.
and here....

This was on Thursday night, right after Sara was admitted.

Emery Rose Glenn

I'm too tired to post much, but Emery did her grandmother a wonderful favor by deciding to come into the world early enough to meet us while Mark and I are visiting. I'm thrilled beyond belief to have been here, after talking to myself for months that it probably wouldn't happen while we were here. I think I like this granny gig!

Sara did great, she went into the hospital Thursday night but was very comfortable. Mark, Sara, Ryan and I actually played cards, and for once, Sara didn't win! Friday morning Donny and Nancy came up and we spent the day visiting. Emery made her arrival at 4:16 PM, and Nancy and I were at the door just a few minutes later...we couldn't wait any longer! 7 lbs exactly, 21 inches long, and she looks like her momma, with her daddy's lips and chin. BEAUTIFUL!
